Roll Eyes  Woke up 4AM then headed to South Moutain; Kick Stand Up at 5AM.

Here we are at Television Towers at South Moutain  Phoenix AZ, 0730 hours May 31st 2008.
You can arrive here by coming to Central Ave and East Baseline Road.  The trek here was just an hour but going up this moutain was my first time; so I took it slow.  As I was riding up this moutain, I had a few ostacles in my path; on my mind, well was thinking of my wife Janice who's out with her sister.  First people runners and walkers trying to loose the weight, Ten Speed bikers on carbon fibre speeding around the corners on those thin wheels of rubber.  Second, the moutain was team with small animal wild life that crossed my path.  3rd, rocks and small gravel of sand that fell off the moutain side, yes, my rear slid a few times when I was corning the road. I  stayed 2nd gear all the way up, the 250R was very responsive neogiating the curves and the view was awesome.  Sorry, I did this trek alone but I did have fun. Oh, my wife Janice called me but thats another story in Alexandria Virgina.

Sorry Bro, Edited.

Ahh the fresh air, the smog isn't here yet.

When you get to the top here its highway marker 7.5 from the start up south moutain.

Looking down, the road is very curvey, 250R handle it with ease.  The air up here was crisp, I thought charged near by those TV Antennas.

Also had to watch out for bikers and walkers, can't race these curves without hitting anyone.  I didnt race. Ahhh look at that view.  This moutain had wild life teaming my path as I came up the moutain.

I believe this is the highest point in Phoenix AZ, we are looking south view; Phoenix is north side.

Be honest who is going to obey that sign?

Ok now I am getting thristy, time to down some H20.  Ever since I got this bike I lost 10 pounds.

Can you guess how high we are?

That trail goes down, think you can hike that trail, I saw people enjoying the morning crisp air.

This road wasn't bad going up or down, two view points are Television Towers and Dobbing View which faces the south of the moutain.

Hikers will trek down hill from here.

Up the hill it banks down then hard right, I believe its a Gotcha.

You have no idea how jealous i am of you. You been in this d.c. area before. and you must know how i feel when i see these awesome pics.

I remember riding through arizona and it was great. Im glad that you are losing weight in motorcycling alot of people think motorcycling doesn't make you sweat, but it can be pretty good Smiley. I got to lose about 10lbs this year

Keep them coming, i really enjoy them.

Check out the ride report section, you are in there. I might have to make a special section just for you
